Clementon Elementary School opened in 1980. A six-room addition was completed in 1993 and a new wing for seventh and eighth-grade students was completed in 2000. Extensive renovations were completed in 2005. The school has an expanding enrollment of about 600 students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grades and is the community’s only school building (at this time). Beginning in ninth grade, students attend Overbrook Senior High School, along with students from Berlin Township and Pine Hill.  Students may also be accepted to Camden County Technical School (CCTS).

The Clementon Board of Education is committed to providing students with a quality education. This is reflected in the fact that Clementon has been fully certified by the New Jersey Department of Education. The Board of Education continues to place a high priority on developing technology resources for classroom instruction and media use.

Core programs for all children include reading, mathematics, language, spelling, writing skills, handwriting, science, social studies, and world language. In addition, children study art, music, media skills, health education, study skills, physical education, and computer literacy.
