By way of introduction, I must first tell you how honored I am to serve the Clementon Community as your new Superintendent of Schools. This is truly a dream position for someone who is positive, collaborative and consistently dedicated to providing the best educational experiences for students and staff. Clementon School District offers a remarkable opportunity to impact students through relationships that span the length of each child’s elementary school career.
I have been welcomed warmly by everyone I have met, which has been so appreciated, and I’m anxious for the school year to begin. Like many of you, back-to-school tasks unrelated to my role as educational leader fill a portion of my free time at the moment. Shopping for school supplies and completing school forms are common late-night tasks in my home now also.
I am married with three children. My oldest son is serving our country training at the United States Merchant Marine Academy. My middle son is going into his junior year in high school and my daughter is going into fifth-grade this upcoming school year.
I am certain that my diverse background in education will help to enrich the Clementon community. I began my educational career in Mount Laurel Schools as an elementary teacher. Eleven years later, I was promoted to the district’s Science, Technology, Math and Engineering Curriculum Supervisor. My further promotion as Harrington Middle School’s Principal, offered six years of very diverse and extensive experience that has prepared me well for numerous challenges in the field of education.
All students deserve a positive, challenging and safe learning environment. We must instill in them the thinking skills and confidence to succeed in life. In partnership with the entire Clementon Community, I look forward to providing the best possible educational experience for every child.

I look forward to the school doors opening on September 7 to greet all members of the Clementon School Family. Enjoy the rest of the summer!
